Back in March I wrote a very positive review of nike air max 1 pas cher the Nike Wildhorse 2. I'd put a bunch of miles on them over the winter, and was impressed by the combination of a lightweight, minimally structured upper and a well-cushioned, but reasonably thin sole. They also provided solid traction on the crusty ice and snow I deal with for 3-4 months per year up here in New Hampshire. The strong response to these posts took me by surprise, and though I found a lot of agreement from readers, I think some people misunderstood the point I was trying to make. It wasn't so much that I had any particular problem with the Free Run+ itself (I'm sure I'd probably like running in them if I had a pair), it was moreso a problem with how the shoe is being marketed as one that promotes âbarefoot-likeâ running despite the fact that it has âmore cushioning,â a non-zero heel-toe offset, and increased arch support for âimproved stability.â The bare human foot does not have added cushioning beyond it's own soft tissues, has a zero offset, and has no external arch support for âimproved stability.â I find it very unlikely, given these design elements, that the Free Run+ will promote the midfoot/forefoot footstrike that is a hallmark of barefoot running â this was the point I was trying to nike air max 1 soldes make in those posts. If Nike had simply pitched the Free Run+ as a minimalist shoe rather than emphasizing the barefoot-like angle in their marketing, I wouldn't have written those posts. I'd love to give the Free Run+ a try so I can formally and fairly review it, but I can't justify spending money on it when Nike makes a Free shoe that is more minimalist than the Run+ â the Free 3.0. The latter is the shoe that I will be discussing in this post. The only exception is that one of the black outsole patches near the heel has worn down on one side to reveal a different colored rubber below (I'm a bit of a scuffer). I don't expect this will be a problem from a functional standpoint, but you may not get hundreds of miles out of a shoe like this that has such a small amount of rubber on the sole. There are some problems with the ride for me, however. Mainly it has to do with the outsole design in which there are pretty stiff crash rails on the lateral side with no rubber under the medial heel. This leads to feeling your heel dump medially on initial contact. It stabilizes for me pretty quickly once I'm on my forefoot, but I find that I'm compensating for it, and after awhile I get fatigued at trying to weight my forefoot earlier than normal. This could have been easily fixed if Nike had just extended the medial heel rubber over another two inches. I'm fine with not having rubber on the arch area on a road shoe, but I think the heel needs it on the medial side (unless the entire outsole is EVA and not rubber, like the inov-8 Road-X Lite 155). The upper material has a Flyknit-like pattern to it (to be clear it is not a Flyknit upper) that they call engineered mesh where the mesh has different weave densities in different locations. This material is awesome as it is super light and simple and, so far, has been very durable. I'v e taken them off-trail, through brush and other abrasive objects, and there is not a sign of wear on it. The interior of the upper is equally impressive with a full liner next to the foot and a super soft heel that does not have a heel counter. It is one of the softest uppers I've run in. I've run sock-less in this shoe for every mile even in 85+ deg F heat and no issues at all. In its favor, the Kiger is the first shoe of any appreciable cushion an nike air max 90 d softness that I've actually grown to like for hardpack trails.

Recently renamed from the Mobb Ultra France Chaussures Nike Air Max presumably to avoid any negative associations with the word mob, especially as it relates to sneaker releases the Nike Koth Ultra Mid Rattan has begun launching in its lead colorway.Dressed up in a palette that cleanly aligns with the shoe that inspired it, the Air Mowabb, the Koth Ultra's upper goes all-tan, pairing a leather build with a mesh toe. Striking royal blue contrasts on the neoprene inner-bootie, while a black heel-clip and the occasional pop of orange cement the Mowabb motif.Sleeker and slimmer than its predecessor, the Nike Koth Ultra Mid Rattan is the perfect kind of update, retaining the spirit of the original but ultimately transforming the functionality. For the trails, you still have the Mowabb. For the streets, there's the Koth. Grab a pair now at spots like Jimmy Jazz. When you're in the business of writing about running shoes, it pays to be quick about sharing thoughts on new shoe releases, particularly when the release involves one of the top-selling shoes in the country (world?). This week Nike launched the 2014 Free line, and my plan was to pick up a pair right away and fast-track a review (i.e., run in them pretty much exclusively for a week or two to get enough miles for a solid review). The outsole material is fine overall, if not a Chaussures Nike Air Max Hommes little too soft of a compound (the lugs are wearing pretty quick). The tread pattern, especially in the heel, is silly in my mind as it adds a lot of weight with no tangible benefit. I also don't understand why they didn't just have a complete full outsole without the line of exposed EVA separating the edges from the middle of the outsole. This creates a much softer edge for the shoe which decreases its precision and edging in more technical terrain. Complaints aside, the traction is adequate on dry surfaces. I have not run them in mud, but would expect them to be lacking due to the relatively shallow lug depth. The fit is fantastic in comfort and average in security. It is a pretty low volume fit with a low toebox height and a more sock-like cut to the entire upper. What the LeBron 12?! New photos of the hotly anticipated shoe, that's what.An amalgamation of a number of past LeBron colorways and other disparate features, the shoe rocks elements as familiar as the Dunkman logo, red and blue Megafuse, and even Safari print and basketball-mimicking leather. To name but a few, of course. As usual, there are a couple dozen concepts crammed into this single pair of shoes.Take a closer look at LeBron's latest asymmetric wonder below, and grab a pair at select retailers on September 5. The Nike KD 8 Suit releases on August 14, a bold, colorful new look inspired by the suit Kevin Durant wore while accepting his 2013-14 NBA MVP Award and giving a speech for the ages.Mimicking the color-shifting purple ensemble that KD suited up in on that fateful May 6, the shoe boasts a striking purple Flyweave upper, with violet striping in the toe that effects a subtle, complementary color-changing strategy. For contrast of the more eye-popping variety, neon green jumps off the branding, outsole and full-length Zoom Air bag, the perfect bright counterpoint to the darker upper.Grab the Nike KD 8 Suit on shelves in less than two weeks, retailing for the usual $180. Retailers everywhere will carry the shoe?and, as?of righ t now, that includes amruns.uk. Following two Falcons-oriented editions, another new colorway of the Air Zoom Vick 2 is finally hitting stores, this one inspired by Mike Vick's most recent team: the New York Jets.A forest green forefoot starkly contrasts an otherwise white leather upper, boasting the usual sleek perforations and embossed Swoosh for a cool, innovative look that easily turns heads. Metallic silver tooling around the heel Zoom Air unit and eyelet pops meanwhile, finishing off the palette in style. The Nike Zoom Vick 2 Jets is now available at select retailer Chaussures Nike Air Max Femmes s nationwide, including NY's Sneaker Bistro.?They'll run you $150 a pair.

Back in March Nike Free Dame Sko I wrote a very positive review of the Nike Wildhorse 2. They also provided solid traction on the crusty ice and snow I deal with for 3-4 months per year up here in New Hampshire. Like a David Lynch movie or TV show; really any David Lynch project the Kyrie 1 is about to get very dark.Oh sure, there are spots of bright on the Nike Kyrie 1 Green Glow, such as the eponymous shade of green on the tongue-branding and Nike Free Herre Sko collar, or the stunning reflective silver Swoosh that ramps up conspicuousness as lightinglowers.?But from the upper's layers of dark grey mesh to the black on the tongue and midsole, this is one of the darkest Kyrie 1's to date. The Nike Kyrie 1 Green Glow release date is set for September 16 at US retailers. Like an episode of Twin Peaks, the darkness belies an impressive display. 2. Weight. The Free 3.0 is a very lightweight shoe, with both models weighing in at under 7oz (in my size 10). You barely notice when these shoes are on your feet. Nike Terra Kiger HeelMy biggest issue with the Kiger is in the sole design, particularly in the heel. The Lunarglide has rubber in all major wear spots, and my pair i s not showing any unusual or accelerated breakdown after about 30 miles on roads (note ¨C I do tend to catch rocks in the forefoot grooves, not a big deal though).I haven't been wowed by this shoe, and on several occasions I've almost shelved it, but for some reason I keep coming back to it. I like the soft feel, I love the upper, I love the look. I don't like the snug midfoot, but I can tolerate it. Appearance: As always, Nike pays careful attention to the appearance of their shoes , and the Free Run+ is no different in this regard.
