| In today’s busy time, those patients who are interested in lifting sagging skin by tightening the tissues often do not want to have the downtime of a facelift. Ultherapy and Thermage help to tighten the skin but are more uncomfortable than Pelleve. Pelleve is a warm energy but not painful enough to require sedative medication or pain medication. Pelleve uses radiofrequency energy to deliver electromagnetically-induced heat in the dermis without affecting the epidermis. It can be done as one treatment, but there may be more improvement in some patients who need more work, with a series of monthly treatments for three or more. | Volume depletion from fat loss is a consequence of the normal aging process and also significant weight loss. In the face, this contributes to a less youthful appearance.
