But you can’t just ignore and exclude them either. Bad players are more likely new players that heavily rely on pug queue to get into any runs. If queue times lengthen considerably because they get ignored too often, it makes for a miserable gaming experience. Not having a functional queue system even makes players quit, that’s part of the reason why the devs reworked it. So having superior toons carry newbs through dungeons is much better than the alternative. Plus experienced players have an easy way out as they can build premade groups, which by the way is much easier than ignoring a gazillion bad players. Doesn’t Work at All for PVPAlso it doesn’t work at all for PVP. You can’t introduce manual exclusion and then expect the matchmaking to work properly. So as much as I personally desire such a feature, it doesn’t make tons of sense. What you could think about is a time-limited exclusion for PVE only. Separating the ignore and exclude function would be a?requirement anyway because there are indeed situations where you want to ignore players, but don’t mind playing with them (Winter Festival scammer for example). And then you could probably limit the exclusion to 14 or 30 days or something. That means you can get rid of bots or annoying players for some amount of time, but give them a chance to come back more experienced and geared later. I would think that not many players actually keep track of their excluded handles and continuously re-ban them.Overall though, the ignore list can’t be an exclude list. We are aware of this general complaint with the game’s large number of proc effects vis-a-vis PvP, and by in large we agree. I can’t promise any specific changes but it is something the team is absolutely thinking about how to make better in the long term. You might know that we reported a bug with Medallion of Battle?drop rates for the PC version of the game last September. A quality of life change that made it possible to solo queue into content enabled players to get way more Medallions in the Call-to-Arms format than intended. Apparently a set amount of them dropped per mob and was divided between all party members. If the party only consisted of one, then the player was able to get up to 200 Medallions per run. The devs have since incorporated a fix by changing how the drops work. Players now once again only got 30-ish Medallions regardless of how many players participate in a run. The Bug Celebrates Its Revival on ConsolesThat’s on PC. On consoles in the meantime the bug celebrates a big revival. Garlaanx tipped us off with a video posted to his Youtube channel, which clearly shows that multiple Medallions drop per mob. This makes the current CtA on Xbox and PS4 a premier way to amass the event currency. The next edition will probably already feature the fix that has been live on PC for quite some time. Don’t forget that Medallions don’t expire. So you can very well farm a bunch and spend them on your favorite transmutes or whatever later. Have fun with Garrundar!
