Vape Review: The VooPoo Drag 2 Starter Kit VooPoo has gained quite the reputation in the vaping industry since they began manufacturing products in 2017. They’ve released some awesome devices, but one reason their mods have gained popularity is their GENE Chip, which is one of the best chipsets out there. We previously reviewed the VooPoo Drag box mod, as well as the VooPoo UForce T1 tank from the original voopoo drag nano pod. While I was a huge fan of the VooPoo Drag mod, I wasn’t as impressed with their UForce T1 tank. Now VooPoo has released the VooPoo Drag 2 177W Starter Kit with their new UForce T2 tank. Does this latest effort from VooPoo compare to the original Drag? Let’s find out. The body of the VooPoo Drag 2 mod is a zinc alloy with resin panels. This look is very similar to the original VooPoo Drag. However, with the Drag 2, VooPoo has made the body about 25% lighter in weight and the edges are slightly rounder, making it a bit more comfortable to hold. And of course, like the original model, the mod has “DRAG” across the back panel/battery door. With the new UForce T2 tank,Vaporesso Aurora Play looks stunning. The T2 has a matching resin drip tip and a dark grey stainless steel body, along with a Pyrex glass tube. This kit is available is eight different color options: Island, Flame, Aurora, Scarlet, Fire Cloud, Puzzle, Dawn, and Ink. These are all a fantastic swirl of colors, each with their own unique look. I received the Flame color, which is a combination of orange and blue. I can’t start without saying that the Drag 2 kit is really well crafted. It’s a kit that feels like it will last, built with trusted materials. Clearly VooPoo didn’t skimp out and use anything that’ll fall apart easily. This is a dual 18650 battery mod. The battery door is the back side of the mod with the words “DRAG” across the panel. To remove the battery door, just pull and it comes off with little effort. You’ll find the battery slots labelled, as well as a black ribbon to help you remove the batteries when it’s time to take them out to charge then. The door is held in place with strong magnets that keep it nice and snug when you’re vaping. There’s a slight jiggle to the battery door, which is practically the only thing negative I have to say about the build of this mod. VLADDIN RE POD VAPORIZER REVIEW If you’re in the market for a new pod vaporizer you’re going to want to check out the Vladdin RE. Vladdin has really outdone themselves with this latest pod device, featuring a surprisingly long lasting 1500mAh battery, the vladdin can last through a whole day of salt nic vaping with ease. Even if it doesn’t, the Vladdin RE goes from low power to full charge with less than an hour of charging time! Not to mention the futuristic look of this device, I really enjoy the tapered oval shape of the Vladdin RE. It feels sleek and smooth in your hand and often times I found myself gripping it between my fingers like a regular cigarette. This is a big plus for me, with pod based devices I always prefer a thinner body but the rounded design of the Vladdin RE really takes ergonomics to the next level. It measures less than 4 inches long so you can comfortably fit the Vladdin RE in any pants pocket or purse. I don’t typically chain smoke pod devices, voopoo vape but even with hitting the Vladdin once every 30 min or so whilst playing some Red Dead Redemption 2 at home, it was still going strong at the end of the night. Another great perk is that the Vladdin produces more vapor than almost any other pod device on the market, especially a certain USB dock charging device. The Vladdin RE utilizes a refillable pod cartridge which holds up to 1.5ml of E-Liquid, perfect for high concentration salt nic vaping. I was testing mine with Cubano Silver from VGOD and the flavor production with the Vladdin’s ceramic coils was amazing! Filling is a breeze as well, a silicon plug prevents leaks and the dual fill holes on the cartridge are roomy enough to insert a unicorn tip so you can refill your pod without any mess. A gold plated magnet on the base of the cartridge snaps it into place on top of the battery, its a tight connection and holds firmly throughout heavy usage and pocket movement. It’s a draw activated device so there’s no settings or buttons to mess around with, you simply puff on the mouthpiece and a blast of vapor is produced to satisfy your cravings. While I was testing the Vladdin RE I noticed that, unlike every single device I’ve ever used, there’s zero gurgling and no spitback whatsoever. I don’t know if you’ve ever had spitback while vaping 50mg salt nic but let me tell you, it is definitely not something you’ll enjoy experiencing. I gotta give the manufacturing team behind the Vladdin RE a huge thumbs up for that quality construction. At the end of all my tests I have to say I’m very pleased with the Vladdin RE. It’s outperformed most of the other pod devices I’ve tested in almost every regard and it seems like the Vladdin will keep performing spectacularly for a long time to come. My only gripe with this device is that the battery life indicator is pretty static, all it displays is a bright white LED light while charging or operating the Vladdin RE. I ripped my pants off, and even with my pants off, my leg was still on fire because the battery acid sprayed all over my leg and dripped down my leg.” Shonkwiler told NBC News he’d taken the battery out of the device and had it in his pocket with some coins. That could have resulted in a short. He said the package didn’t warn about the hazard, and he never realized the risk. Despite the potential for danger, e-cigarettes are currently an unregulated product, so we don’t know how many injuries they’ve caused. The only statistic available is from a 17-month old report from the U.S. Fire Administration that found 25 e-cigarette injuries between 2009 and 2014.
