Description There’s nothing like fleeing in fear from a gnome warlock as they put nine different damage-over-time effects on you somewhere in the caves of Alterac Valley. Blizzard knows this, of course, so they’re here to make sure the holiday events for battlegrounds hit the servers soon!

To be clear, all of the dates mentioned herein refer to World of Warcraft: Classic, and not World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. The two games have completely different dates and holidays – not to mention BfA having many more battleground options than the Classic client.

The holidays will begin with the upcoming WoW Classic 1.13.4 patch. These holidays will last four about four days each. During that timeframe, players will earn additional Honor and Reputation with a specific Battleground. Players should expect the holidays to start at 12.01 a.m. according to their realm’s time, so make sure you’re keeping tabs on the timing if your time zone and realm time don’t match up. The first holiday to hit will be Warsong Gulch. Blizzard lays these holiday dates out to be March 13th, April 10th, May 8th, June 5th, and so on.

Second will be the Arathi Basin, which has only recently been added into the game as of today. Arathi Basin’s holiday periods will be March 20th, April 17th, May 15th, June 12th, and so on as according to Blizzard’s announcement.

Finally, we have the Alterac Valley holiday for those that like to spend several hours trying to down a general. These holidays will take place on April 3d, May 1st, May 29th, June 26th, and so on.
