About me Jordan Brand and 2016 Jordan Shoes are teaming up for a handful of releases to celebrate the Quai 54 tournament, an annual event that takes place in Paris, France.First up is Jordan Brand which will have an exciting lineup. We will have the chance to purchase a new Air Jordan 2 along with the Jordan Reveal. Most of you already know that the ‘Cosmos’ Air Jordan XXX will also be available. Nike will also have releases from their Basketball and Sportswear department. From the Swoosh, the most sought after will be the Nike Kobe 11 however they are also releasing a pair of the Nike Flyknit Air Force 1. With the 2016 Jordans  — the shoe you may have seen LeBron rocking himself throughout the Finals — the Swoosh decked out this silhouette in a classic black base paired with a gum outsole. Other specs include a breathable mesh upper, a trio of straps with herringbone detailing, and reflective 3M branding for a touch of modern sneaker technology.The Nike Air Jordan 5 "Metallic Silver," now referred to as the "Black Metallic" because of the White "Metallic Silver" 5s released just last year, are retroing this year. Man 2016 is bringing back this OG colorway and they're bringing it back with it's Nike Air on the back heel. A pair many have referred to as a grail. This Alternate version of the Air Jordan 30 comes dressed in a Gym Red and White color scheme. The shoe features a full striking Red tumbled leather upper with White textured detailing on the forefoot. Other details include a Black inner interior and heel stripe that rests atop a full White rubber outsole and has Metallic Red upper eyelets.Designed as a colorway that wasn’t, but could have been an original, the “alternate” road edition features a predominantly black upper red accents for the classic “Bred” color scheme. Looking at these now, many would agree that it’s a shame they never actually dropped back in 1987. Is this actually one of the best non-OG colorways for the AJ2 ever?
