The answer is no, we don't really need to.This has in fact been the case for a while, and the folks at Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and the ESA know this.That's why E3 has slowly switched its focus from presenting to retailers to presenting to the media and press.The industry has the retail world's attention.E3 has become about getting the rest of the world's attention, through use of the press.The problem is that the way E3 has worked over the years isn't very efficient at providing the media and press a way to play FIFA games and tell their audiences about them.In fact, the fifa 16 coins current setup is perhaps the most unproductive way to demo upcoming software to the media.For those at home, reading about E3, things might seem like heaven in Los Angeles, but that's not the reality of things.For people covering E3 “- I'm not talking about those people that go to E3 because they work at FIFA gamestop or run a blog on My Space “- who stay up until 3 AM writing about E3, the week is very stressful, tiring, difficult and expensive, even.Yes, it's true: there are some great things about E3.It serves as a meeting ground for hundreds of thousands of industry folk to gather once a year, touch base or make new connections.I'd be sad if the new E3 totally ruined this great truth.
